The table provided in this summary shows the generator program (analog, awstats, webalizer), whether the program is allowed, and whether it is enabled by default. If the program is allowed or enabled by default, a green circle icon will be shown.
Also shown is a "User to Display" text box. By default the value "all" is entered. If you click on the "Show Status Per User/Domain" button with the text box value of "all," the status listings for each of the users on your server will be shown. To show only one user or domain, enter the username or the domain name of the account you want to view and click on the "Show Status Per User/Domain" button.
When the page loads you will have a variable of reports, tables, and columns you can review regarding the statistical programs being used by the users on your server.
To the right of the table and "User to Display" text box you should see the following statement:
The server currently is able to keep up with your statistics processing schedule.
If the above statement is not shown, and you see another statement, please contact your provider as soon as possible.
Statistics Processing Configuration
All of the statistical reports are updated every 24 hours. All of the bandwidth information is updated every 6 hours. If you want to compare data from each statistics program, you should only compare data that is at least 36 hours old to ensure that it has been updated and is providing the correct information. Please note these times are estimates, and are subject to change based on the amount of traffic on the server.
You can change the frequency (hourly) of when statistics are generated by entering the number of hours in the Generate statistics every XX hours text box. By default the value is set to 24. Once you have entered the number of hours you want to generate statistics, click on the Change button. You will be returned to the same page once the system has updated the value.
NOTE: Depending on your server's load, generating statistics reports in frequencies less than 24 hours apart, your server's performance may be affected.
Statistics Processing Times
The Statistics Processing Times feature gives you access to choose the times you DO NOT want log analysis to be performed.
Steps
- On the Statistics Software Configuration main page, click on the Configure Statistic Process Time Schedule button.
- When the page loads, click on the check boxes next to each of the time slots you DO NOT want log analysis to be performed. (Note: Keep in mind that if there isn't enough time allocated to running log analysis, your logs may never fully be completely analyzed.)
