You can easily generate a SSL Certificate and Signing Request using the built-in feature in WHM for any domain on your server.
Steps
- When the page loads, set the following:
- Email Address the Cert will be sent to - Enter the email address used for the recipient of the certificate you are creating.
- Host to make cert for - Enter the domain name associated with the certificate's account.
- State - Enter the state associated with the certificate's account.
- Company Name - Enter the company name associated with the certificate's account.
- Country (2 letter abbreviation) - Enter the country two letter abbreviation associated with the certificate's account.
- City - Enter the city associated with the certificate's account.
- Company Division - Enter the company division associated with the certificate's account.
- Email - Enter the email address associated with the certificate's account.
- Password - Enter the password associated with the certificate's account.
- Click on the Create button.
- The next screen displays the following:
"Certificate Request and Key for HOST_IP_ASSOCIATED_WITH_CERTIFICATE"

- The certificate you created in the steps above will be stored on your server. Once you have finished generating your certificate, read the Install a SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain document.
